The company Services

 

Founded in 2002, Orobica Food S.r.l is a modern and dynamic company, dealing with the retail and the wholesale of fresh and frozen food for catering.

We are active in the provinces of Bergamo, Brescia, Lecco, Milan, Lodi, Monza and Brianza, Cremona, Mantua, Reggio Emilia and Bologna; we do own eight isothermal vans and employ drivers of our own, in order to assure fast and timely everyday deliveries. We export our articles to most European countries, and we are now expanding our business to the East Asian markets.

Our company is situated on a 3000 m2 area, some 1000 of which are occupied by a storehouse, 500 by refrigeration rooms, 200 by an open-space for expositions and food-tastings and 50 by a shop.

We guarantee the quality of our products, by accurately selecting them from our some 200 suppliers from all over Italy and the European community. Indeed, some of our articles are directly imported from their production country.

History

2002

 

Sharing previous experiences in the domains of the production and the retail of food, Claudio e Gianluca Locatelli, together with Claudo's wife Barbara Signorelli, found Orobica Food S.r.l, a modern and dynamic company dealing with the distribution of fresh food for catering.

2003

 

The company, in continuous development, increases the variety of the commercialised articles, starting collaborating with salesmen.

2006

 

Orobica Food S.r.l moves to a larger location in Chiuduno (BG) setting the basis for further development, the company being more and more established in the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia, and gaining a strategic position in the centre of northern Italy.

2009

 

The catalogue now includes frozen food. The company starts exporting goods to some European countries.

2010

 

The process of expansion and renovation continues: in order to assure a better operative and commercial management, the company opt for order copy solutions.

2012

 

An exclusive area for food-tastings is created, where our clients have the chance to taste the articles of our catalogue: cold cuts, cheeses, main courses, pizzas… The room is also used for food-service operators courses. A retail shop is also inaugurated.

2014

 

The company creates its own web site, along with an on-line shop where it's possible to buy the articles of our catalogue.
